I started Transition Alliance Partners because I believe great businesses deserve great next owners.

Originally from Germany and now proud to call Northeast Ohio home, I bring a combination of entrepreneurial curiosity, operational discipline, and a passion for helping businesses grow. Throughout my career, I have led teams, built growth strategies, improved processes, and helped organizations work more effectively together. Today, I serve as Director of Marketing Operations for one of the largest media and publishing companies in the United States.

My goal is to acquire and grow exceptional businesses throughout Northeast Ohio while creating opportunities for employees, developing future leaders, and building organizations where people can do the best work of their careers.

For me, business ownership isn't just about financial returns. It's about stewardship, growth, and helping write the next chapter of a company's story.

Scott Smith

Strategic Partner

Scott has spent more than 30 years helping organizations improve performance, efficiency, and quality. Originally starting his career as a line operator at Whirlpool in Clyde, Ohio, he worked his way through all levels of manufacturing building a deep understanding of how successful businesses operate from the ground up.

As an industrial engineer, Scott is passionate about process improvement and operational excellence. Today, he is a manager at Ford Motor Company, where he focuses on operational improvement and driving results within one of the world's largest and most complex manufacturing organizations.

Scott brings a practical, people-first approach and decades of experience working inside complex organizations. He understands that great businesses are built through strong processes, strong leadership, and employees who take pride in their work.
